Erdogan Calls for Increased Global Pressure on Israel Over Gaza Crisis

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called for immediate diplomatic pressure from the international community on Israel, citing the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that the world must not remain silent in the face of Israeli attacks and the urgent need to deliver aid to civilians in Gaza.
Erdogan stated that establishing a safe and reliable route for humanitarian assistance to the besieged population in Gaza is an urgent and non-negotiable necessity. He added that countries around the world must take a firm stance against the destructive policies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Referring to the actions of Hamas, the Turkish president said the group has continued to observe the ceasefire despite continuous Israeli attacks and violations. He noted that Hamas’s restraint signals a willingness to pursue a political resolution to the crisis.
Erdogan’s remarks come as Israel intensifies its attacks on the Gaza Strip, with resistance group leaders in Lebanon also reportedly being targeted. The escalation has raised growing concerns about a broader regional conflict.
