Netanyahu Accuses Hamas and Hezbollah of Truce Violations, Vows Unilateral Military Response

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has renewed his hardline stance by accusing Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups of threatening Israel’s security, asserting that Israel will respond independently to any attacks regardless of international opinion.
His remarks come amid ongoing, large-scale Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, which have not ceased in recent weeks. Numerous human rights organizations have described these actions as clear examples of war crimes and genocide. Despite this, Netanyahu alleged that Hamas is responsible for violating the ceasefire in Gaza, claiming the group has repeatedly attempted assaults on Israeli military positions and areas “beyond the yellow line.”
Netanyahu emphasized that Israel does not require permission from other countries in its decision-making and maintains full responsibility for its own security. “Decisions to counter threats are taken independently by the military, and Israel will not wait for approval from any party to respond to attacks against its interests,” he stated.
He also revealed that the Israeli military has recently conducted operations in Lebanon, claiming they were aimed at preventing Hezbollah from restoring its combat capabilities.
These comments come as the international community calls for an immediate halt to the violence and for humanitarian aid access for civilians in Gaza. However, Israel continues its attacks on residential areas, disregarding such appeals. Muslim nations and human rights organizations have repeatedly warned about the high number of civilian casualties, including women and children.
