Taliban Police Seize 245 Kilograms of Hashish in Panjshir, Arrest Four Suspects

The Taliban’s Anti-Narcotics Police have announced the seizure of 245 kilograms of hashish in Panjshir province and the arrest of four individuals connected to the case. According to the authority, these individuals were apprehended while transporting the drugs from the Kotol Anjuman area in the Paryan district. Following initial investigations, the police have referred their case to the judicial and legal authorities for further proceedings. The Taliban administration has not disclosed additional details regarding the identities of those detained or the intended destination of the seized shipment. Panjshir province is located in northeastern Afghanistan, and the Paryan district is one of its mountainous areas, with Kotol Anjuman considered one of its difficult-to-access routes.
