Trump Announces Potential Deal with Iran Over Strait of Hormuz

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, claimed that Washington is beginning talks with Iran regarding the “form and framework of negotiations,” and, according to him, there is also an agreement concerning the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump said this process would start on Monday evening. He also asserted that, eventually, an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program would be reached.

In another part of his statements, the U.S. President referred to the possibility of military action against Iran, stating that the United States was prepared for an attack and that such attacks could have continued.

According to Trump, the planned attack against Iran was supposed to be the “largest attack since World War II,” but he claimed that Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Iran asked him to cancel the operation.
