Taliban’s Acting Minister Hails Establishment of National Mujahid Museum as Major Achievement

Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani, Taliban’s Acting Minister of Information and Culture, praised the creation of the National Mujahid Museum as a significant achievement during his visit to Maidan Wardak province. After touring various departments of the Information and Culture Directorate, he claimed that the museum properly introduces the country’s jihad history to future generations and plays a vital role in preserving historical values. Mawlawi Habibullah Mujahid, head of Information and Culture in Maidan Wardak, stated that the museum was built with limited resources and operates in four sections. According to him, these sections house ancient artifacts, Mujahideen military equipment and handmade tools, manuscripts of old books, as well as memorabilia related to martyrs and a list of their names. The Minister also inspected the library and the mosque under construction at the directorate, emphasizing the importance of building a standard mosque. During his meeting with the officials, he appreciated their efforts and stressed the need to prioritize access to information alongside preserving cultural and historical values.
