Top Riders Honored in Afghanistan’s Inaugural Motorcycle Tour

Winners of the first round of Afghanistan’s “Tour Afghanistan” motorcycle race were officially recognized after completing a 1,500-kilometer route from Kabul to Badakhshan. According to the National Olympic Committee of Afghanistan, 20 athletes from four provinces participated in the competition.

The participants traveled through 15 provinces during the sporting journey, covering one of the longest competitive routes in motorcycle racing. This endurance race was organized to test the technical and physical abilities of the athletes.

Sports officials stated that the competition was launched to promote sports culture, strengthen national unity, and showcase Afghanistan’s sporting potential. They described the event as a step toward encouraging young people to engage in sports and expanding motorcycle racing in the country.

The award ceremony for the top athletes was held with the presence of sports officials and several athletes, where the efforts and achievements of the participants were appreciated.
