Taliban Condemns Cafe Bombing in Damascus, Citing Violation of Islamic and Humanitarian Principles

The Taliban’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the bombing of a cafe in Damascus, the capital of Syria, stating that attacks on civilians contradict Islamic and humanitarian principles. According to reports, the explosion of a bomb inside a cafe in Damascus resulted in at least six deaths and 22 injuries. The incident occurred in one of the districts of the Syrian capital and caused civilian casualties. In a released statement, the Taliban’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that targeting civilians constitutes a violation of Islamic values and human standards. The statement strongly condemned the incident. Furthermore, the statement added that the Taliban administration considers such attacks a serious challenge to the security and stability of Syria and stressed the necessity of ensuring the safety of citizens in that country.
