Israeli Airstrikes Hit Multiple Targets in Southern and Eastern Lebanon

In a continuation of escalating regional tensions, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes early this morning on several locations in southern Lebanon. According to Lebanese sources, the strikes targeted the areas of Jabal al-Rafi in the Al-Tuffah district, Al-Jarmaq, the heights of Al-Rihan, and Al-Mahmoudiyeh.

At the same time, Al Jazeera reported that Israeli drones struck the city of Al-Hermel in the Bekaa region, located in eastern Lebanon. This is not the first time that civilian areas in the Bekaa Valley have been targeted by Israeli unmanned aircraft.

Israeli authorities claim the attacks are aimed at preventing Hezbollah from rebuilding its military infrastructure. However, regional analysts argue that the real objective is to increase pressure on the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah.

The latest strikes come amid growing concerns over the possibility of an expanded conflict between Israel and Hezbollah along Lebanon’s southern border. Local residents have reported extensive damage and widespread fear among the population.
