Iranian Consul-General and Herat Governor Discuss Expanding Economic Cooperation

Ali Reza Marhamati, the Consul-General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat, met with Sheikh Islamjar, the Governor of Herat, to discuss and exchange views on expanding bilateral cooperation in the economic, trade, agricultural, and mining sectors. The meeting was held in the presence of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ representation office in Herat.
The Herat Governor’s press office announced that both parties emphasized developing joint interactions in the mentioned areas during this meeting. According to the source, the main focus of the talks was on strengthening economic relations and facilitating trade cooperation between the two sides.
