Trump Calls Critics of Iran Deal ‘Fools’ Amid Domestic Backlash

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, responded to a wave of domestic criticism regarding the signing of a deal with Iran by calling his critics “envious” and “fools.” He made these remarks on Thursday in a post on his Truth Social page.
In his message, Trump wrote that those who believe he has not been tough enough on Iran or who are upset by recent successes are, as he put it, either “bad people or fools.” Simultaneously, he defended his record by referencing the U.S. stock market reaching an all-time high and the decline in oil prices.
These statements come amid a number of domestic critics who view the recent deal with Iran as a sign of excessive leniency by Washington. However, the U.S. president rejected these claims, emphasizing that his policies toward Iran and the U.S. economy have yielded positive results.
At the end of his message, Trump reiterated his campaign slogan, writing: “Make America Great Again.”
