Luxembourg Donates €300,000 to Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced that Luxembourg has contributed €300,000, equivalent to $343,600, to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund. OCHA expressed appreciation for this donation, stating that the financial aid will help deliver life-saving assistance to communities facing urgent humanitarian needs. The Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund is one of the UN’s financial mechanisms to support relief programs across the country, with its resources used to address the vulnerabilities of families in various regions. Aid organizations have repeatedly emphasized that continued international support is crucial for responding to the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, warning that a reduction in funding could hinder efforts to assist those in need.
