US Analyst Says Zelensky Worried Over Russia’s Warnings of Retaliatory Attacks

Daniel Davis, a retired US Army officer and military analyst, has stated that behavioral signs from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky indicate his concern over recent Russian warnings about fresh retaliatory attacks.
According to media reports citing RT, Davis emphasized that Zelensky usually appears confident in front of the media. However, he noted a noticeable change in the Ukrainian president’s recent statements and actions. He added that even Zelensky’s body language suggests the upcoming situation could be different and serious.
The American analyst also viewed warnings from Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, as a sign of a possible escalation in the conflict. He said that Ukraine may face “dangerous and very difficult” circumstances.
Meanwhile, tensions escalated after a Ukrainian drone struck a student dormitory in Luhansk, causing the building to collapse. Reports indicate 21 students were killed and 44 others injured in the incident. Following this event, the Russian military announced it had launched retaliatory attacks against Ukrainian positions.
The Ukraine war, which began in 2022, remains one of Europe’s most complex security crises, with each battlefield development potentially triggering wide-ranging political and military consequences.
