Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior has announced that 200 personnel from the Special Diplomatic Protection Unit of the Federal Police will be sent to Saudi Arabia to undergo advanced security training programs. According to Pakistani officials, this initiative aims to enhance the security capacities of these forces.

The decision was made during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, and Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister, Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud, held in the Mina region. The two sides discussed security cooperation and the exchange of experiences between their respective agencies.

Official statements from Islamabad indicate that the deployed forces will receive training in areas such as diplomatic protection, response to armed attacks, crisis management, embassy security, and identification of security threats.
