Afghan Shia Scholars Council Urges End to Global Arrogance in Eid al-Adha Message

The Afghan Shia Scholars Council, in a message on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, described the holiday as a symbol of sacrifice, devotion, and closeness to God. The council emphasized the necessity of sincere worship, serving the people, and praying for the destruction of arrogance and Zionism.

In the message, Eid al-Adha is portrayed as an opportunity for self-purification and a return to authentic religious and ethical values. The council urged Muslims to fulfill their religious and social responsibilities during these days by increasing acts of worship, prayers, good deeds, and especially helping those in need.

The Afghan Shia Scholars Council also referred to the state of the Islamic world and called on Muslims to pray for peace, justice, and prosperity in Islamic countries, particularly Afghanistan, and to strengthen Islamic solidarity.

In another part of the message, condemning what it described as oppression and crimes against Muslims, the council stressed that the destruction of global arrogance and Zionism should be among the most important prayers and hopes of Muslims during Eid al-Adha. The statement also emphasized praying for the victory of Muslim nations who, according to the council, are resisting these forces.
