Four Drug Traffickers Arrested in Nangarhar Province

Officials from the 201 Khalid bin Walid Corps, affiliated with the Taliban administration, have announced the arrest of four individuals accused of drug trafficking and smuggling pharmaceutical items in the Momandara district of Nangarhar province.

Wahidullah Mohammadi, spokesperson for the corps, stated that forces from the Second Abdullah bin Zubair Border Brigade, especially the intelligence and counterintelligence units of the Third Battalion, apprehended the suspects in the Momandara district while they were transferring goods from Pakistan into Afghanistan.

According to him, a quantity of narcotics including “Golden Karim” and “Dream Steam Oil,” capsules labeled “Trihid,” four cans of paint, medicines, and other items were seized from the individuals. Officials claimed that these items were intended to be illegally smuggled into Afghanistan.

The corps spokesperson added that after completing initial investigations, the detainees along with the confiscated materials will be handed over to the relevant judicial and law enforcement authorities.
