Over 20 Entrepreneurs Sign Contracts at Kabul Agriculture Expo

At the 34th Kabul Agriculture Exhibition, more than 20 entrepreneurs from Kandahar, Helmand, Badghis, and Nangarhar provinces showcased their products with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the European Union in Afghanistan. Several of them succeeded in signing trade contracts.

According to information released by the UNDP office in Afghanistan, these entrepreneurs were able to find new markets for their products during the exhibition and increased their sales.

The Kabul Agriculture Exhibition is held annually to introduce domestic products, create marketing opportunities, and strengthen the ties between producers and buyers. The participation of entrepreneurs from various provinces in such events provides them with greater access to broader commercial networks.

International organizations’ support for the agricultural sector comes amid ongoing challenges faced by many producers in the provinces, such as limited market access and inadequate packaging and transportation facilities.
