‘Roots and Manifestations’ Exhibition Showcases Afghanistan’s Ancient Cultural Heritage in Finland

The exhibition “Roots and Manifestations” was held in Finland with the aim of introducing Afghanistan’s millennia-old cultural heritage. Several members of the Finnish Parliament and prominent cultural figures attended the event. Organizers described the exhibition as an effort to reclaim and promote Afghanistan’s historical and cultural background on an international level.
This exhibition was initiated by the Hazara Cultural House in Finland in collaboration with the Helena Rautavaara Museum and will remain open to visitors until the end of August this year. The organizers stated that the goal of the event is to build a cultural bridge between the people of Finland and the Afghan community.
The exhibition features a collection of traditional jewelry, local clothing of the Hazara people, handicrafts, and a number of historical and written artifacts related to the Hazara cultural heritage. These items reflect part of Afghanistan’s cultural diversity — a country that, despite decades of war, continues to possess a rich artistic and historical legacy.
