100 Taliban Anti-Drug Officers Graduate After Short Training Seminar

One hundred employees from the Directorate of Detection, Technique, and Stabilization under the Taliban’s Anti-Narcotics Department received graduation certificates after completing a short-term training seminar. The program was organized by the Training and Education Directorate of the same department. The closing ceremony was attended by Mawlavi Abdul Rahman Qasemi, Deputy of Property Affairs, along with several officials and staff members. During the ceremony, officials described the fight against narcotics as a “jihad” and urged employees to maintain unity and coordination among themselves and to treat the public well. Meanwhile, experts consistently emphasize that effective narcotics control requires specialized approaches, transparency in operations, and broad cooperation with domestic and international organizations. At the end of the event, graduation certificates were distributed to the seminar participants. The Taliban administration has not yet provided further details about the training content or its practical outcomes.
