New ‘Tut Bagh’ Trade Center Opens in Takhar with a Budget of 24 Million Afghanis

The ‘Tut Bagh’ trade market was completed and officially inaugurated in the center of Takhar province with a budget of 24 million Afghanis. This project is located in Takhar’s provincial capital, Taloqan city, and was funded by the municipality’s development budget.
Mawlavi Abdul Ghafour Sirat, the mayor of Taloqan, stated at the opening ceremony that construction work on this center had been underway for the past two years, financed by the municipality’s development funds. According to him, this project is part of broader urban development programs.
According to provided information, the center was built on a 1,200 square meter plot and features 84 shops, two large halls, and other essential facilities. Officials say that with the operation of this trade center, a better environment will be created for merchants to conduct their activities.
The mayor of Taloqan also expressed hope that the opening of this trade center will stimulate increased economic activity in the city. At the same time, citizens emphasize that alongside inaugurating new projects, the Taliban administration must pay serious attention to the quality of urban services, transparency in budget spending, and addressing the basic needs of residents.
It is reported that work is currently ongoing on several other development projects in Takhar province, which are expected to be completed and put into operation in the near future.
