Israeli Army Intensifies Attacks in Southern Lebanon, Violating Ceasefire

In a continuation of ceasefire violations in Lebanon, Israeli forces have launched multiple ground and air attacks targeting several areas in the south of the country. News sources report that these strikes have affected parts of Nabatieh and its surrounding regions.
According to regional media, an Israeli drone targeted the Al-Taher area in the city of Nabatieh. Artillery shelling also struck the Yahmar al-Shaqif region in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Israeli airstrikes have included the Zoutar Sharqi area. So far, no further details have been released regarding the extent of damage or any potential casualties.
These developments follow an announcement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office last night, stating that Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Israeli military to escalate attacks in southern Lebanon. This comes amid Lebanese sources reporting incidents of ceasefire breaches from the very first days of its declaration, raising concerns over the persistence of tensions along Lebanon’s southern borders.
