Russia Accuses Germany of Becoming Main Supporter of the Ukraine War

A spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that Germany has become the main supporter of the war in Ukraine and its militarization process. These remarks come after Berlin announced an expansion of strategic cooperation with Kyiv.
Maria Zakharova said that Germany’s new role in supporting Ukraine, particularly in military and defense sectors, represents a significant shift in Berlin’s position in the conflict. According to her, these actions have strengthened Ukraine’s military capabilities.
Meanwhile, Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of Germany, declared this week that Berlin and Kyiv have agreed on a strategic partnership. He added that the two countries have decided to further deepen their cooperation, including in the defense field.
The Ukraine war, which began in 2022 with Russia’s invasion, remains one of Europe’s most critical security crises, with Western military support for Kyiv being a central point of tension between Moscow and these countries.
