Afghanistan and Uzbekistan Sign 20 Trade Agreements Worth Over $400 Million

The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment announced that during a joint trade networking meeting between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, 20 agreements valued at more than 400 million US dollars were signed.
According to the Chamber, the meeting took place in the city of Fergana, Uzbekistan, where traders and investors from both countries discussed expanding economic and trade cooperation. The signed agreements cover various areas of commercial collaboration.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment described the event as an important step in developing economic relations between Kabul and Tashkent, emphasizing that such meetings can facilitate increased exports, investment, and the creation of new business opportunities.
Uzbekistan, a northern neighbor of Afghanistan, has in recent years made efforts to strengthen economic relations with Afghanistan, with regular joint trade meetings held between the private sectors of the two countries.
