Hezbollah Forces Israeli Helicopters to Retreat with Surface-to-Air Missiles

Hezbollah has announced that it fired several surface-to-air missiles at two Israeli military helicopters within the airspace of the al-Biyadiya area, forcing the helicopters to leave the conflict zone. According to the group, the operation was carried out after monitoring aerial movements, and the helicopters withdrew from the area without continuing their mission.
According to Al Jazeera network reports, simultaneously, two Israeli army tanks in the al-Taybeh area were targeted by suicide drones. No further details have been released regarding the extent of damage from these attacks.
This incident comes while Israeli military and political officials have repeatedly claimed in recent months that Hezbollah’s combat capabilities have been weakened or destroyed; claims that have been questioned in light of ongoing reciprocal attacks along the northern borders of the occupied territories.
In another development, Israel’s Channel 14 reported that Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, reprimanded Major General Rafi Milo, the commander of the northern front, for his remarks to residents in northern Israel. It is said that this military commander admitted that the Israeli army was surprised by Hezbollah’s capabilities—a statement that has sparked widespread reactions within Israeli domestic circles.
