Afghan and Uzbek Traders Sign $65 Million in Cooperation Agreements

In a joint meeting held in the Fergana province, Afghan and Uzbek traders signed 10 cooperation agreements worth over 65 million US dollars between the private sectors of the two countries. The meeting was attended by representatives from the private sectors of both sides.

The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment announced that these agreements were signed with the aim of developing bilateral trade and strengthening economic cooperation between Kabul and Tashkent. According to the organization, the new agreements could pave the way for expanding trade relations and increasing the level of exchanges between traders from both countries.

In recent years, Uzbekistan has emerged as a key trading partner for Afghanistan in the Central Asian region, and holding such meetings at the private sector level is considered part of the efforts to solidify economic ties between the two nations.
