US and Iranian Aircraft Simultaneously Stationed at Pakistan’s Nur Khan Airbase

In an unprecedented event, a US Air Force AF-2 aircraft was stationed alongside two planes from Iran’s Meraj Airlines at the Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Images of the event show the aircraft parked side by side simultaneously at the military base, a sight that has attracted attention on social media due to the tense relations between Washington and Tehran.
Nur Khan Airbase is one of Pakistan’s key military facilities near Islamabad and frequently hosts military flights and senior foreign officials. However, details regarding the purpose of these flights and the reasons for their simultaneous presence have not yet been disclosed.
Pakistan has sought to maintain balanced relations with various countries, including the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, in recent years. The concurrent presence of these aircraft on Pakistani soil is seen within this context.
