Two Young Men Killed in Separate Incidents in Ghazni and Jawzjan Provinces

Local sources in Ghazni and Jawzjan provinces report the deaths of two young men in separate incidents. According to the sources, the perpetrators and motives remain unclear, and the Taliban administration has remained silent on the matter.

In Ghazni, early Saturday morning, March 11, the body of a young man was found in the ‘Moshki’ area of Qarabagh district. Sources say the young man was mysteriously killed, but his identity has not yet been confirmed. Locals say the body was taken to a local clinic by residents.

Meanwhile, in Jawzjan province, another young man named Ghulam Haider was killed on the night of Thursday, March 9, when unknown armed individuals attacked him at his home in the center of Sheberghan city. Local sources confirm that the incident occurred inside his private residence.

As of the time of this report, the motives behind these two killings remain unknown. Local Taliban officials in Ghazni and Jawzjan have not commented on the circumstances of the incidents or on any measures taken to identify the perpetrators.

In recent years, following the Taliban’s return to power in the country, numerous reports of mysterious killings have emerged from various provinces. In many cases, the assailants have been described as “unknown armed individuals,” raising growing concerns about security conditions and the handling of investigations by responsible authorities.
