Thousands of Children Continue Education Amid Gaza’s Devastation, Says UN Agency
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has announced that despite widespread destruction and an unstable environment throughout the Gaza Strip, thousands of children are still participating in educational programs.
According to the agency, these activities are conducted both inside shelters and through digital platforms, allowing children to continue their education. Many of these children live in areas where essential infrastructure has been damaged.
UNRWA emphasized that despite the challenging conditions, it strives to keep children engaged with regular curricula and structured activities to maintain a sense of continuity and normalcy in their lives.
The Gaza Strip has experienced extensive destruction and a humanitarian crisis in recent months, creating significant challenges to accessing education; however, aid organizations stress that education remains one of the fundamental needs for children in the region.
