Pamir School Construction Project in Badakhshan Moves to Implementation Phase

The Badakhshan provincial press office, under Taliban administration, announced that during a meeting between Mohammad Ismail Ghaznavi and Turdakun Sydykov, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, both parties emphasized expanding bilateral cooperation and initiating the practical construction of a school for the residents of Pamir.
According to the office, local officials expressed their readiness for comprehensive collaboration in executing this project. The Kyrgyzstan delegation also stated that their purpose for the visit was to begin the operational work of this project.
During the meeting, the allocation of land for the school construction was highlighted as an important step in strengthening relations between the two countries. Both sides also stressed the importance of improving security conditions and creating a suitable environment for advancing joint projects.
The Pamir region, located in the northeastern part of the country, is one of the remote areas of Badakhshan. Its residents face a shortage of educational services, and implementing such projects can significantly enhance children’s access to education.
