China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Pakistan and the Taliban administration reached an agreement during talks held in the city of Urumqi to refrain from any actions that could escalate or complicate the situation. According to Beijing, both sides continue to emphasize resolving differences and making efforts to improve bilateral relations.

He noted that members of these delegations comprised officials responsible for foreign affairs, defense, and security sectors.

The spokesperson further added that Pakistan and the Taliban administration emphasized adherence to the goals and spirit of the United Nations Charter and the principles of peaceful coexistence during the meeting. They also pledged to resolve existing disputes through dialogue as soon as possible.
