Pakistani General Warns of Serious Consequences for US Military Action Against Iran

A former Pakistani military official has warned about the consequences of any US military action against Iran, describing it as a “serious miscalculation.”
Arshad Malik, former Deputy Commander of the Pakistan Air Force, told a political program on Geo News in Islamabad that any violation of Iran’s territorial waters or land could result in heavy casualties for American forces. He emphasized that decision-makers in Washington must carefully assess the ramifications of such a move.
The Pakistani general highlighted the defensive spirit of the Iranian people, stating that Iranian society is sensitive to foreign threats and would respond extensively in the event of a conflict. According to him, ignoring this reality could lead to a situation that becomes difficult to manage.
Malik also pointed to Iran’s military capabilities, including its asymmetric warfare capacities, as factors that should be taken into account in any military calculation. He warned that in case of conflict, the human costs for the attacking side would be significant.
