Drug Processing Factories Discovered in Ghor and Zabul; Four Arrested
The Narcotics Police have announced the discovery and seizure of several drug processing and manufacturing factories along with hundreds of kilograms of precursor materials in Ghor province. Additionally, eight kilograms of opium were seized in Zabul province.
According to security officials, these operations were carried out as a result of targeted police action, and the areas in question were brought under control following preliminary inspections.
In connection with this case, four individuals have been arrested. Officials stated that the detainees will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities after the completion of initial investigations.
Ghor and Zabul provinces have been among the regions reported to have drug production and trafficking activities in recent years, and security forces continue their efforts to suppress this phenomenon.
