Harris Warns Trump’s Iran War Threatens American Troops’ Lives

Kamala Harris, former Vice President of the United States, has accused President Donald Trump of endangering the lives of American military personnel by advancing a war against Iran, plunging the country into a crisis she says is not supported by the majority of American citizens.
According to Mehr News Agency, Harris, who was Trump’s opponent in the 2024 presidential election, stated that increased military expenditures and the expansion of conflicts have weakened the security of American forces. She emphasized that these actions have been taken without considering the will of the American public.
Harris further remarked that the current U.S. president defends his actions while still failing to provide clear answers to the domestic needs of the nation’s citizens. She added that Trump’s recent attempt to portray “victory” in his speech does not align with the views of a significant portion of public opinion.
Yesterday, Trump spoke on the occasion of the one-month anniversary of the war against Iran. At the same time, results from some polls indicate that 66 percent of Americans oppose continuing this war, a factor that could influence the political climate within the United States.
