Flood in Samangan Claims Lives of Three Family Members

Local sources in Samangan province confirm that a flash flood in the Feroz Nakchir district has claimed the lives of three family members. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, March 31, and the victims include a woman and two children.
According to sources, the flood was triggered by heavy spring rains. Feroz Nakchir district is considered one of the areas most vulnerable to natural disasters and faces seasonal flood threats every year.
In recent days, several provinces across the country have experienced heavy rainfall and flash floods, resulting in both human casualties and financial losses. Residents in some areas have complained about the lack of immediate emergency response resources.
According to statistics provided by the Taliban administration, at least 42 people have died and dozens more have been injured in rain and flood-related incidents across the country so far. However, further details regarding the handling of victims and future preventive measures have not been clearly announced.
