Russia Accuses West of Undermining Global Security Order

Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, stated that the actions of the United States and Western countries have increased instability in the international system and weakened the legal framework of global security.
On Monday, in a statement released by the RIA Novosti news agency, he said the West is prepared to take any measures to maintain what it calls its “hegemony.” According to him, international legal structures related to security are being dismantled as a result of this approach.
Galuzin also spoke of a growing divide between what he described as the “global majority” and the “Western minority,” claiming that this minority is striving to dominate global processes.
These remarks come amid rising tensions between Russia and Western countries in recent years, following international security and political crises, with both sides blaming each other for instability.
