Israel Reports Nearly 5,000 Rockets Fired from Lebanon Since March 2

Israel’s Foreign Minister has announced that since the outbreak of clashes on March 2, Hezbollah in Lebanon has fired close to 5,000 rockets, missiles, and drones towards Israeli-occupied territories. According to him, these attacks have occurred during the ongoing war between the two sides and have targeted parts of areas under Israeli control. Israeli officials have not yet released further details regarding potential damages or casualties resulting from these assaults. Tensions along Israel’s northern borders with Lebanon have escalated alongside the expanding conflict in the region. Hezbollah, a key player in southern Lebanon, has previously engaged in various confrontations with Israel. The recent developments have heightened concerns over the widening scope of the war in the region, with the security situation along the Lebanon-Israel border remaining fragile.
