‘Made in Afghanistan’ Exhibition Held in Tashkent to Boost Trade

The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment announced that an exhibition showcasing Afghan products titled ‘Made in Afghanistan’ was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The event was launched with the aim of introducing domestic products and expanding export markets.
According to information provided by the organization, the exhibition was held with the support of the United Nations Development Programme and focused on strengthening regional trade relations. Participants at the exhibition sought to present Afghanistan’s production and export capacities to regional traders and investors.
Uzbekistan, as one of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries in Central Asia, has in recent years become an important trade route for Afghan goods. Hosting such exhibitions can facilitate greater interaction between the private sectors of the two countries and help Afghan products access new markets.
