Trump Mocks UK Prime Minister Starmer in Satirical Video Posted on Truth Social

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, posted a satirical video on his personal page on the platform “Truth Social,” mocking UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The video is a segment from the latest episode of the British comedy show “Saturday Night Live.”
In the clip, an actor portraying Starmer in the UK Prime Minister’s office expresses concern about making a phone call to Trump. In a conversation with the actor playing his deputy, David Lammy, he asks, “What if Trump yells at me?”
Later, after Trump answers the call, the character immediately hangs up, saying talking to the president is “scary and very difficult.” Trump provided no explanation or commentary when reposting the video.
This move comes amid tensions in relations between the two following recent events related to military conflicts involving the US, Israel, and Iran. Trump had earlier criticized the UK’s stance in these developments, expressing dissatisfaction with London’s actions.
The UK government initially refrained from direct involvement at the start of the conflicts but later agreed to the US request for “limited and specific” use of two of its military bases. CNN also reported that, in response, Iran targeted the “Diego Garcia” base with missile attacks.
So far, the UK Prime Minister’s office has not issued any response to the video reposted by Trump.
