Sunni Friday Prayer Leader in Zahedan Calls for Dialogue Between Taliban Administration and Pakistan

Molavi Abdul Hamid Ismailzahi, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, has urged the Taliban administration in Afghanistan and the government of Pakistan to resolve their existing disputes and tensions through dialogue and political understanding.

In his Eid prayer sermon in Zahedan, he emphasized that Afghanistan and Pakistan share historical and religious ties, with many mutual interests between the two countries. According to him, these commonalities could provide a foundation for the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

Molavi Abdul Hamid also added that no individual or faction should be allowed to create tension or provoke conflict between the Taliban administration and Pakistan for their personal interests.

In recent months, relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan have experienced ups and downs. Some experts believe that the continuation of political dialogues and the use of diplomatic mechanisms can prevent the escalation of tensions and strengthen stability in the region.
