Hezbollah Reports Clashes with Israeli Forces in Southern Lebanon

Hezbollah has announced that its forces engaged in clashes with Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon on Saturday morning, halting their advance. The group also reported conducting several missile and drone attacks against Israeli military targets.
According to a statement released by Hezbollah, the confrontation began at 9:30 AM when Israeli soldiers attempted to infiltrate from the Tabasin area toward the municipality building of Naqoura. Hezbollah forces engaged them and prevented their progress.
Hezbollah claims to have inflicted “deadly blows” on the Israeli forces during the clashes. Independent sources have yet to provide details on the extent of casualties or damages.
The group further stated that it targeted the Philon base with missile attacks and also struck Israeli military concentrations in al-Khiyam and several other areas.
According to Hezbollah, hours prior to this event, the military base “Elit” northeast of the city of Safed was subjected to extensive missile attacks. Additionally, in an operation described as “precise,” an explosive drone directly hit the Israeli navy’s radar at the coastal base of Ras Naqoura.
Israeli officials have not yet issued an official response to these claims. Clashes along the southern Lebanese border have increased in recent months, raising concerns about escalating tensions in the region.
