International Union of Muslim Scholars Condemns Pakistan Army’s Attack on Kabul Drug Treatment Center
The International Union of Muslim Scholars has strongly condemned the attack attributed to the Pakistan Army on a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul. The organization described the act as ‘haram’ and in violation of Islamic principles and international laws.
In a statement, the religious body called targeting a medical facility incompatible with human values and Islamic Sharia rulings, emphasizing that such actions, especially in civilian areas, are unjustifiable.
The International Union of Muslim Scholars also expressed concern over the rising tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan and urged Pakistan’s political and military authorities to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
The statement further called on Pakistan’s government and military leadership to establish a transparent and impartial fact-finding committee to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and the potential casualties, so that the details of the matter are clearly clarified.
