Pakistan Denounces India’s Claims Over Kabul Rehab Center Attack as Hypocritical

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has rejected India’s recent statements regarding an attack on a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul, describing India’s allegations as “hypocritical” and indicative of “double standards in its foreign policy.” Islamabad emphasized that India’s stance on this matter is unacceptable.
In a statement released by the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, the Indian government was accused of exploiting Islamophobia for domestic political purposes. The ministry claimed that India’s leadership has pursued policies against Muslims to gain electoral advantage.
Without naming any specific country, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry further stated that India has recently provided full support to “an occupying power,” a country which, according to the ministry, is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Palestinians.
The statement also noted that a country which, as Pakistan alleges, has undermined the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its neighbors in violation of the United Nations Charter principles, cannot comment on adherence to those principles.
This response came after India’s Ministry of External Affairs announced on Tuesday that Pakistan had attacked a “drug rehabilitation center” in Kabul. New Delhi condemned the act as “cruel and unjustifiable.”
So far, no further details have emerged regarding how the incident occurred or any potential casualties, and both sides remain firm on their positions.
