Iran Targets US Section of Riyadh Oil Refinery in Coordinated Attack
News sources reported that last night the American forces’ section of the Riyadh oil and gas refinery, located on the outskirts of the city, came under attack. Following the incident, a series of explosions occurred, causing a widespread fire in the refinery area.
Images shared on social media showed columns of smoke and flames at the site; however, so far no official statements have been made by Saudi Arabian or United States authorities explaining the details of the event.
According to claims, US military personnel used the refinery to supply fuel for the United States Air Force fighter jets stationed at Prince Sultan Air Base in the Al-Kharj region.
It is reported that if the destruction of the fuel depot is confirmed, the process of fueling these fighter jets will face disruptions. Independent information regarding the extent of the damage and possible casualties has not yet been released.
