Massive Turnout in Iran for International Quds Day March

This morning, coinciding with the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, large crowds gathered across various cities in Iran to participate in the International Quds Day march along designated routes. Reports indicate that many participants assembled hours before the official commencement of the event at announced locations.
International Quds Day, initiated by Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is observed annually on the last Friday of Ramadan in multiple cities across Iran and some other countries. This year’s event took place amid organizers’ references to the special circumstances and recent regional developments.
In recent days, Iranian officials, including Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, had called on the public to take part in the march. Iranian domestic media reported that in several cities, participants arrived at the gathering sites ahead of the scheduled time.
The International Quds Day march is held annually with a focus on supporting the Palestinian people, where attendees express their views and stances regarding this cause.
