Islamic Solidarity Emphasized at Iranian Embassy Iftar in Kabul

Ambassadors from member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) residing in Kabul attended the iftar dinner hosted by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the gathering, the importance of solidarity among Islamic countries was highlighted.
Alireza Beikedli, chargé d’affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Afghanistan, emphasized the need to strengthen unity and convergence among Islamic nations in his speech. He described Jerusalem as the focal point of Islamic solidarity and called for greater attention to this issue.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is a significant international institution among Muslim countries, aimed at enhancing political, economic, and cultural cooperation among its members. Afghanistan is also a member of this organization.
This iftar dinner was held during the month of Ramadan, known as a time of worship and solidarity, providing an opportunity for diplomatic meetings and dialogue among Islamic country delegations in Kabul.
