Iraq’s Sayyed al-Shuhada Brigades Secretary-General Rejects Neutrality in Regional Battle

Abu Alaa Al-Wala’i, Secretary-General of Iraq’s Sayyed al-Shuhada Brigades, declared that there is no place for neutrality in the ongoing battle in the region, and that the United States will gradually be sidelined from the region’s developments.
According to Iraqi media, he described this confrontation as “decisive,” claiming that the current clash is between what he called the “axis of truth” and the “axis of falsehood.” He said the battle possesses all the characteristics of a full-scale confrontation.
In a message on the social media platform X, Al-Wala’i wrote that from his and his allies’ viewpoint, neutrality in this conflict is unacceptable. Referring to the role of what he termed the “Islamic resistance,” he emphasized that this movement has been positioned on their desired side since the beginning of the clashes.
He further stated that after the war ends, the Iraqi people will judge who actively participated on the battlefield and who, in his words, chose a path of weakness. These remarks come amid ongoing political and military tensions and alignments in the region.
