Iranian Military Official Vows to Block Oil Exports to ‘Hostile Parties’ Amid Rising Tensions

A senior military official of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced that, until further notice, not even a liter of oil will be allowed to be exported from the region to what are termed as ‘hostile parties and their partners.’ These remarks were made during an interview with the Al Mayadeen network.

The unnamed official stated that if the military ‘aggression’ by the United States and Israel against Iran continues and targets civilian infrastructure, insecurity could escalate significantly. He warned that under such circumstances, the consequences of insecurity would not be confined to one side alone.

He also claimed that after failing in their offensive plans, U.S. military forces and their Israeli partners have resorted to ‘unconventional behaviors.’

Furthermore, the military official cautioned that the current situation could lead to scenarios involving ‘intense severity and high costs.’ He added that from their perspective, the option to expand the scope of the war remains open.

These statements come amid rising tensions in the region following a military attack by the United States and Israel on Iranian territory, which resulted in the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei and several other Iranian officials.
