Snow and Rain Forecasted in 23 Provinces Across Afghanistan

The Meteorological Department of the Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation has announced that tomorrow there is a possibility of snow, rain, thunderstorms, and relatively strong winds in 23 provinces across the country.
According to this forecast, the provinces of Kabul, Laghman, Kunar, Kapisa, Panjshir, Herat, Badghis, and Badakhshan are included in this warning. It has also been stated that several other provinces will experience similar weather changes.
The Meteorological Department has urged residents of these areas to take precautionary measures during urban travel and inter-provincial journeys, considering the likelihood of precipitation and wind.
In winter and early spring, sudden rainfall and thunderstorms are common in some mountainous regions of the country and sometimes cause difficulties in travel and road closures.
