Former MEP Criticizes EU’s Response to Attacks Attributed to US and Israel on Iran
Mike Wallace, a former Member of the European Parliament, criticized the European Union’s stance on attacks attributed to the United States and Israel against Iran in a message posted on the social media platform X. He claimed that Brussels has not shown a serious reaction to the issue.
In his message, Wallace wrote that civilians in Iran have been targeted and that the EU “does not care” about this situation. The Irish politician also alleged that “war crimes” occurred during these attacks.
Wallace further criticized the approach of Western countries, adding that in his view, these countries have ignored international laws. He concluded his remarks by expressing dissatisfaction with their conduct.
So far, EU officials have not responded to the latest comments from the former Member of the European Parliament. Tensions between Iran and some Western countries have consistently been a contentious topic in international political circles in recent years.
