Three Civilians Killed in Pakistani Border Attacks on Paktia and Paktika

Taliban authorities have reported that Pakistani forces carried out attacks on several districts in the provinces of Paktia and Paktika, resulting in the deaths of three civilians and injuries to three others. These incidents occurred on Friday, March 5.
Hamdullah Fetrat, Deputy Spokesperson for the Taliban administration, stated that Pakistani soldiers targeted residential homes in the Samkani and Patan districts of Paktia province. According to him, one individual named Chaman, son of Bajor, was killed and another was injured in these attacks.
Fetrat further reported that in Paktia, ten houses, fourteen shops, two markets, and one mosque were destroyed due to these assaults. He added that the Barmal and Shkin districts of Paktika province were also targeted, resulting in two deaths and two injuries.
According to Taliban claims, more than 100 families were forced to abandon their homes in the Alishir and Terzayi districts, with at least ten houses demolished. Independent sources have not yet provided verified figures on the exact number of casualties and damages.
Military tensions between the Taliban administration and Pakistan have persisted for over a week, with casualties reported on both sides. The continuation of these clashes has heightened the concerns of border residents and has once again raised questions about how border relations are managed and the security of border areas ensured.
