Public Gathering in Ghazni Condemns Killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei

Hundreds of residents of Ghazni city held a public gathering at the Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Grand Mosque to mourn the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. They expressed their condolences and solidarity with the people of Iran. The assembly took place near the city’s Islamic Cultural Center.

According to reports, Ayatollah Khamenei was killed following joint attacks by the United States and Israel targeting parts of Iranian cities on the 10th of the month of Hoot (approximately late February). In the same incident, several Iranian officials were also martyred. Official Iranian sources have not yet released further details regarding the event.

Participants at the gathering spoke about Ayatollah Khamenei’s political and religious life and emphasized his role in regional political developments. Speakers referred to him as a “martyr” and highlighted that his political and religious stances over past years had a broad impact on regional and international affairs.

Over the past decades, Ayatollah Khamenei had been one of the most influential figures in the political and religious framework of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The recent incident has sparked various reactions within Iran and several countries across the region.
